I lost Coach bags in my checked-in luggage after I came back from NY JFK. Can police man help this case?

I took Delta (DL705) from NY JFK and transfered in LAX(CI005) back to Taiwan. I found out that there were 3 Coach bags,2 Coach wallets and 2 CK wallets missing. Total value is about USD650. However, I originally packed some clothes in these bags still left in the luggage. Obviously, it must be somebody steal these bags and leave those unuseful stuff to us during inspection process. Bt the way, I also got TSA label on the luggage. Can NY or LA police help this case? Who can I claim for?I lost Coach bags in my checked-in luggage after I came back from NY JFK. You claim is with Delta. They took possession of your luggage when you boarded their flight. It is their responsibility to return your luggage to you - or to pay you the value of your loss.

Air Bags didn't explode. Do I possibly have a case (lawsuit)?

My mom, younger sister and me where in the car when we got in a car accident. We hit a telephone pole, but we didn't realize that the airbags didn't explode. The whole front of the car was destroyed yet the airbags didn't deploy. Both me and my mom have some injuries. I have a head injury because I hit the window in front of me (dont know what is called). My mom is feeling some pain in her back and neck. I makes me think that my head injury could have been avoided if the airbag would be deployed. I was just wondering if this type of incident could be a case to be filed against the automobile manufacturer.

Thanks.Air Bags didn't explode. Do I possibly have a case (lawsuit)?
The primary safety device in a car is the seatbelt, which if you chose to wear it would have prevented your head injury. Airbags are a supplemental retraining system and activate only under certain deceleration criteria. Airbags will not prevent any injury, in fact if they deploy they will cause some injuries by the nature of their rapid deployment, this is why latest generation airbags do not deploy unnecessarily.Air Bags didn't explode. Do I possibly have a case (lawsuit)?
Depends how fast you were going. Typically on most cars, the airbags wont deploy till you hit 25mph. If your going less than that, then you don't have a case. If you were going faster than that, then you got something to work with.
That definitely sounds like you should have a case. I used http://www.autocollisionlaw.com before because they were from my area and they helped me out. Free consultation online and if they aren't in your area they probably could refer you to someone good. good luck!
depends if your car has air bags. if your bought this vehicle used, it could have been wrecked before and the air bags were not replaced. what year and make car?
You need to hire a lawyer. They will contract an accident reconstructionist to see if you have a case.
it depends where on the car did you hit the pole if you hit the middle of the front of the car on modern cars it is a designated crumple zone and the airbag sensors might not have detected the crash.

also if the car is used the air bags might have gone off before and never replaced.

or it could be a problem with the electrical system such as a short or a faulty connection that could happen with any significant jarring of the vehicle.

if you do decide to take this up in court you will have an extremely hard time proving that it was a manufacturing defect from the factory rather than bad maintenance.

  • I found a few 'anti-mold' stickers and a few bags of 'silica' gel in my guitar case...?

i bought a new guitar case for my Schecter C1+... It's a schecter case and it had that stuff in it. The guy said the silica gel bags were used to absort/keep out moisture in the case, and the stickers kept it from getting mold?

Just wanted to double check and make sure that's what its for, and if it is... should I put 1 of each in my guitar case WITH my guitar in it also? I just want to make sure it wouldnt hurt anything, or if I should put them in the case at all?I found a few 'anti-mold' stickers and a few bags of 'silica' gel in my guitar case...?
They are fine. The silica just absorbs water from the air. They get saturated after a while, but you can ';recharge'; them with a quick turn in the microwave.

Not sure what the stickers are.I found a few 'anti-mold' stickers and a few bags of 'silica' gel in my guitar case...?
The stickers are a sticker inhibits mold growth and combined with the silica gel packs are for storage purposes for the case as it sat in the warehouse waiting to be sold. The cases are probably made in a country that has high humidity and needs to have something to combat moisture while being stored.

Just throw them away. They are of no use anymore.

They won't hurt anything if you leave them in, but you really shouldn't need them anymore

What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?

well if you are traveling and wanted to protect an egg, you wouldnt use a soft case would you? to protect something...i think one would use a hard case so that the case would take the impact and the item inside wouldnt be harmed.

    so, i would say..hard case =)

the links below are good travel golf bags. take a look! =)What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?
Don't forget about hybrid bags! While not as protective as a hard case, they are cheaper and lighter and still better in general than a fully soft bag.

http://onlytravelbags.com sells a good one at a great price (click on ';hybrid bags';).

What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?
Definitely a hard case. I've seen how the luggage handlers throw the bags around. If you value your clubs...go with a hard case!
IMHO, go with a hard case, as crushing and bending are the forces you are attempting to avert and a hard case does best. If I was in the market, I think I'd go with the Trav-a-lite. It's a travel case, so you don't need a separate case and bag. The price is right too, use the link below. I'd go with the model 12 or 14.

By the way, thanks for asking a new and original question, it's really refreshing!
hard cases are much more durable, but soft are muchhh lighter. so there's pros and cons to both. but i'd go with a hard if i was you.
I'd say it depends on what you are looking for in your travel bag. If you are looking for the most portable, get a Club Glove. If you are looking for the most protection, get a Club Glove. If you are looking for a bargain, you deserve to have your clubs broken. But seriously, Club Glove is used by almost every PGA Pro, without contracts. It is not cheap, but less expensive than replacing your clubs. If you want additional protection, get the Stiff-Arm, which basically prevents your bag from flexing and snapping.
hard case. Less risk of scraching or ruining clubs. Also most of them are on wheels
    hard case

make sure to get something that will protect your bags!!!!
Hard case if you're flying your clubs a lot. I have a padded soft case and I wrap towels around the heads for extra cushion. I haven't flown my clubs too much, but when I did, they were fine. If you get a hard case, get one with rollers so you don't have to carry it through the airport with the rest of your luggage.

In case of Rapture, I Bags Shotgun. Is that ok.?

You ';bags shotgun'; what does that mean? you bag shotguns? or is it some term that I have no clue what it means?

    Have a good one!

Cinn =)In case of Rapture, I Bags Shotgun. Is that ok.?
The one leaving and the one left behind is just a premise for the time when family turns on each other. When hurricanes come, one after another, when floods or Tsunami's are scattered here and there, when children are disobedient to their parents, when there are talks of wars and more wars, all at once, food shortages, water shortages, one after another, diseases, pestilence, one after another, these are the beginning signs of distress and the beginning ot the end of the things that we know. There is no rapture in the sense that you know. There will be some left behind and very few going to heaven, and these are all the chosen ones who will then clean and rebuild the earth to the paradise it was intended to be..so if hording other peoples stuff is your thing, it won't be necessary or available...sorry.In case of Rapture, I Bags Shotgun. Is that ok.?
What does ';I Bags Shotgun.'; mean?

When the rapture takes place, you can do whatever your little heart desires, because there will be no more Christian influence to tell you that anything is wrong or not. Chaos and anarchy will reign supreme!
No. Nepoletano, BO, Pelosi, Reid and all the other liberals will put you in jail for exercising your 2nd amendment rights.
if you think it is ok then i also told that it is ok
    No, Jesus said very specifically ';no shotguns allowed';
You're welcome to it, I've already bagsied the M1 Abrahams tanks.
    There will be no rapture.
That's fine, i bags the uzi.
    it's just fine

How many carry on bags can you have? like can i take a backpack and a suit case? for nwa?

No. You are allowed one carry on plus a ';personal'; item, such as a purse. In addition, it sounds as though your bags are too big and so will need to be checked.

Does your family have ';Go bags'; packed, in case of evacuation due to terrorist attacks or natural disasters?

    And what did you pack?

And do all your family members keep the phone number of a relative or friend in another city that you all can call in case you're separated and can't contact each other?

I'm just wondering how many people are still prepared after time has passed since 9/11 and Katrina.Does your family have ';Go bags'; packed, in case of evacuation due to terrorist attacks or natural disasters?
We have the necessary preparations.Does your family have ';Go bags'; packed, in case of evacuation due to terrorist attacks or natural disasters?
    i was born ready.
Yea i agree with 'lo r'. We don't get many hurricanes or anything in australia. Well at least in the south region
