If you are talking about your carry-on bag, don't worry about it--you will either stow it above you (and you can tell if someone opens it and is up there messing around); or you will put it underneath the seat in front of you where you will be able to see it.

If you are talking about your checked bag, don't worry about locking it either. I never lock mine. Regardless of whether or not you use a lock, your bag can still be searched (TSA-approved locks can be opened with a master key, all other locks can be cut), so just don't put anything very valuable, like expensive electronics, in your checked bag. Both of my checked bags were searched on my last flight three weeks ago, they search them randomly, so it really doesn't matter whether or not you have a lock. No one but airport/security personnel will be handling your luggage anyway. Plus, locks often get broken off by the conveyor belt, and having that happen can damage your suitcase. How do i lock my bag when im on the plane if it only has 1 zipper (cannot two 2 together in this case)'?
You can't lock bags anymore--unless you want your lock destroyed if your luggage is chosen for a search. Anything valuable or important (like medicine)--carry it on!
Maybe rig something up with a lock and some kinda chain or something, connecting it to a strap.
Use a strap/belt
