Why does America sell a case of hot dogs with 10 in them but only sells bags of buns with 8?

some people don't eat bread they don't feel the need to


go for a fully coordinated set of dogs and buns ... just a

It's like when you buy a box of cards and there's an extra envelope or two for screw-ups. Only in the case of hot dogs, it's assumed that if they're cooked on a grill, whoever's bringing them to the table will drop a couple. See? Quite sensible, really.
Butchers like to sell hot dogs in the package by the pound or something and the bakers like to sell in multiples of 3, 4 or dozens......OR they are just trying to rip us off its all about money these days
Dogs are sold by the pound. If you look around at diiferent brands you'll find some that come 8 to a pound. Heck there are even 6, 5 and 4 to a pound varieties to be found, if you're willing to obsess about it
so that the hot dog bun co. can make money off people.

because when you buy one of each, the company knows that you will have to buy another pack of buns. therefore, they make more money.
