cameras and the bags/cases are allowed with you on the plane, they might be considered as a carry-on item though and i think there is a limit on how many carry-ons you can take so check with the airline

You are allowed one carry on luggage plus a second carry on item such as lap top, purse, back pack, camera case. The larger carry on must fit in the over head storage and the smaller under the seat in front of you. You are allowed a ';diaper bag'; for an infant and that does not count as one of your carry on items. In the diaper bag, you are allowed the usual items you need for a baby for the duration of the flight. Items such as diapers, baby bottles with formula or breast milk for flight duration, changes of clothing, baby items, etc.
